About this programme

Basiskennis Boekhouden (bookkeeping fundamentals) is a sector-specific MBO 4 diploma route with three examined modules: basic bookkeeping, computerised bookkeeping and numeracy. You learn how the accounting system actually works: the general ledger, journal entries, VAT, and preparing a balance sheet and profit and loss account — first by hand, then in an accounting package. You come away understanding not only how to post an entry, but why. Each module is examined separately and the certificates form the MBO 4 diploma in the LOMAS register.
