AI Professional Skills Certification (20 Hours)
A 20-hour certification in practical AI literacy: structured prompting, critical evaluation of AI output, and responsible use of AI in professional work.

About this programme
The AI Professional Skills Certification is a 20-hour programme that builds practical AI literacy and workplace-ready AI competencies. It is not a programming or AI-development course: the focus is on using generative AI — ChatGPT and other leading platforms — well and responsibly. Through instructor-led demonstrations, guided exercises and real-world case studies you learn structured prompting, how to critically evaluate AI output, where the limitations lie, and how to apply AI with sound professional judgement. Scenarios are drawn from business, education, government, entrepreneurship, research and professional services: writing, research, summarisation, brainstorming, data analysis, presentations, project planning, communication, workflow optimisation and decision support — always with human oversight. The programme also addresses the wider implications of AI: ethics, privacy, security, bias, intellectual property, misinformation and the future of work, including judging when AI should and should not be used.
