Our mission
Education that opens actual doors
We exist to make professional qualification reachable for people in Curaçao and the wider Caribbean — including those whose skills were built through work rather than school.
LBU designs programmes around the outcome: what you can do afterwards, and where that is recognised. All programmes are Luis Brion University programmes; external certification for eligible programmes is in preparation with our recognised examination partner.
For administrative review: Legal status, registration details, governance and any recognition claims are deliberately left blank and must be supplied and verified by LBU administration.
How we teach

Outcome first
Every programme states its end terms and what you will be able to do. If we cannot state it clearly, we do not teach it yet.
Practice-led
Theory serves practice. You work with real cases, real equipment and real clients under supervision wherever the programme allows it.
Multilingual by default
Dutch, English, Spanish and Papiamentu are all part of how this island works — and how we teach and support students.
Recognition of what you already know
Through EVC we document existing competencies, so experienced people do not have to start from zero.
